How to use PetComply responsibly
PetComply helps you review selected pet travel routes, understand likely requirements, and prepare before departure. It does not replace official authority decisions, veterinary advice, or carrier approval requirements.
Service scope
PetComply currently supports automated checks for EU-to-EU pet travel and listed non-EU country entries into the EU.
Routes outside this supported scope, including many non-EU destination checks and some third-country routes, may require manual verification.
- EU member state to EU member state
- Listed non-EU country to EU member state
- Core checks such as microchip, rabies vaccination, and route-specific travel documentation
Advisory only
PetComply helps organize likely requirements and missing steps, but it is not an official government service, not a border authority, and not a veterinarian.
You are responsible for confirming the final requirements for your route with the competent authority, your veterinarian, and any carrier involved in the journey.
No guarantee of travel approval
A ready or likely ready result does not guarantee that a pet will be accepted for transport or admitted at the border.
Final decisions rest with official authorities, border staff, veterinarians, and carriers.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account details, pet details, and document information accurate and current.
You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
No legal, medical, or emergency advice
PetComply does not provide legal advice, veterinary diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency support.
For urgent pet health issues or official document questions, contact a licensed veterinarian or the relevant authority directly.
